<br /> T''"'<:):djk 2/16/87 (#6) <br /> DES:djk 3j09/87R <br /> MAR 9 1987 <br /> ; 1947 QRIGI NAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1947 <br /> <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 27.71, 27.82, 27.89 AND <br />27.122 OF, REPEALING ARTICLE IX OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE <br />IX TO, CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY RELATING TO THE METHOD OF ESTABLISHING CERTAIN <br />SEWER SERVICE AND CONNECTION FEES FOR PUBLIC AGENCY <br />CONTRACTS, CONNECTION PERMITS, PRIVATE SYSTEM PERMITS, <br />STORM WATER DRAINAGE PERMITS, AND WASTEWATER FACILITIES <br />USER FEES; AND REVISING WASTEWATER SYSTEM SERVICE <br />CHARGES, RESPECTIVELY <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 27.71 of the Code of the City of~edwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 27.71. Charge s . Any contract made in <br />accordance with the preceding section may provide for a <br />different schedule of charges than those established <br />pursuant to the provisions of Article IX hereof; provided, <br />however, that no such schedule shall establish charges which <br />yield less than the actual cost to the city for the <br />furnishing of such services, including the pro rata cost to <br />the city of bond servicing, maintenance, operation, repair <br />and administration of the city's ownership interest in the <br />sewerage facilities as are utilized by such public agency, <br />district or political subdivision. Additionally, such <br />charges shall provide for the payment to the city of that <br />prorata portion, if any, of the cost of the treatment works <br />of Authority which is allocable to the treatment of <br />industrial users of the sewerage facilities served by such <br /> '11 . <br /> . l~ 947 <br /> -----.,... <br />
