DCB: sh 6/19/85 DCB:sh 9/03/85R DES:sh 9/16/85R 1922 ORlG!NAL ORDINANCE NO. 1922 OCT 1 4 1985 --------- ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 5, EXCEPT SECTIONS 5.2 AND 5.3 OF ARTICLE I, ARTICLE III, ARTICLE IV, AND ARTICLE VI OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO ANIMALS AND FOWL IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE SAN MATEO COUNTY ORDINANCE, / CHAPTER 6 OF PART TWO DIVISION III (COMPRISING SECTION 3330.0 THROUGH 3330.19) AND AMENDING §5.26 AND §5.75 AND ADDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE I AND ARTICLE V RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULATIONS FOR ANIMAL CONTROL THIS COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Articles I, II, and V of Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City are hereby repealed. SECTION 2. Article I is hereby added to Chapter 5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City to read as follows: Article I "Regulations For Animal Control "Section 5.1. Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et. seg. of the California Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, Chapter 6 of Part Two, Division III (Comprised of Sections 3330.0 through 3330.19) of the Code of Ordinances of the County of San Mateo, California is hereby adopted, and, as from time to time amended, shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set forth in full herein, except as expressly amended by the provisions of this article. " (b) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of Chapter 6 of Part Two, Division III, of the Code of Ordinances of the County of San Mateo, California, hereinafter referred to as 'The Animal Control Ordinance' , and the provisions of this article, the provisions of this article shall govern. 1922 ""- -. -~. , ~~~_. ~-
