C) Requests for 4 -Way Stop Sign Installation - Redwood Shores Parkway at Avocet <br />Drive; (701) <br />Traffic Engineer Haygood explained the request for a 4 -way stop sign and that the <br />engineering data does not meet the requirements. <br />Public Comment: <br />Glenn Kesselman stated that an alternative might be a demand stoplight and that the Fire <br />Station poses a specific situation. <br />Paula Meier agrees that a stop sign is needed. <br />Mary Morrissey Parden thanked everyone and that the need for a crossing guard should be <br />studied. <br />Derby Davidson spoke in favor of a stop sign. <br />Patricia Dixon spoke in favor of the stop sign. <br />M/S Claire /Hartnett to adopt RESOLUTION 14045 ESTABLISHING AND <br />DECLARING DESIGNATED ENTRANCES TO CERTAIN HEREIN SPECIFIED <br />INTERSECTION TO BE STOP ENTRANCES.
