<br /> DCB:sh 10/25/84 <br /> DES:sh 1/04/85R <br /> (c) "Terminal" means any facility at which freight is <br />consolidated to be shipped or where full load consignments <br />may be loaded and off loaded or at which the vehicles are <br />regularly maintained, stored, or manufactured. <br /> (d) "Traffic Engineer" or "Engineer" means the Traffic <br />Engineer of the City of Redwood City or his/her authorized <br />representative. <br /> (e) "Trail Blazer Signs" means Interstate Truck route <br />identification signs to and from Terminals. <br /> "Section 20.75.1. Purpose. The purpose and intent of <br />this division is to regulate and establish procedures for <br />Terminal designation and truck route designation to <br />Terminals for Interstate Trucks operating on a federally <br />designated highway system and to promote the general health, <br />safety, and welfare of the public. <br /> "Section 20.75.2. Application Process. (a) A person <br />who has an ownership interest in a Terminal and requiring <br />Terminal access for Interstate Trucks from a federally <br />designated highway system shall submit an application, on a <br />form as provided by the Department of Public Works, together <br />with such other information as may be required by the <br />Traffic Engineer and the appropriate fees to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> (b) Upon receipt of the application and payment of the <br />fee, the Traffic Engineer will initiate an investigation to <br /> 2 <br />_.-.. -.--- <br />
