<br /> (c) Additional means of identification such as signs, containing <br /> chemical name, percentage concentration, and hazard class, and the posting of <br /> inventories or emergency procedures on the premises may be required by the <br /> Chief. <br /> HANDLING OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br /> Sec. 80.113. <br /> (a) Dispensing anà mixing of hazardous materials shall not be performed <br /> , <br /> in a manner which will substantially increase the risk of an unauthorized <br /> discharge. <br /> (b) When hazardous materials are moved into or out of a storage facility <br /> they shall remain in the travel path only for the time reasonably necessary to <br /> transport the hazardous material. Such movement shall be in a manner which <br /> will not substantially increase the risk of an unauthorized discharge. <br /> REPORTING OF UNAUTHORIZED DISCHARGES OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br /> Sec. 80.1l4. <br /> (a) Any person in charge of a facility or responsible for emergency <br /> response for a facility shall immediately report any unauthorized discharge of <br /> hazardous materials to the Fire Department. <br /> (b) An unauthorized discharge shall mean any release or emission of any <br /> hazardous material that presents a threat to life, health or property or one <br /> that escapes the secondary containment. <br /> EXCEPTION: Discharges that have been <br /> expressly permitted by local, s ta te , or federal <br /> agencies need not be reported. <br /> PENALTIES <br /> Sec. 80.ll5. <br /> Due to the extreme nature of the potential danger of the hazardous <br /> materials regulated by this division, the civil penalties for any person, <br /> . <br /> (23) <br /> -_....~ <br />
