<br /> SWr.:rb 11/08/83 <br /> S ;rb 11/09/83R <br />parking is in conjunction with the actual loading or <br />unloading of merchandise or material. In no event shall the <br />period of parking exceed thirty (30) minutes. " <br />SECTION 3. Division 7 (commencing at Section 20.170) of <br />Article VII of Chapter 20 of the Code of the City of Redwood City <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "DIVISION 7. PARKING METER COURTESY HOODS <br />"Section 20.170. Permit to Use - Issuance - Authority <br />of City Collector. The City Collector is hereby authorized <br />to issue permits to persons or organizations for the placing <br />of courtesy parking hoods over parking meters for the <br />purpose of providing free parking. <br />"Section 20.171. Same - Conditions Prerequisite. A <br />permit to use parking meter courtesy hoods shall be issued <br />only when all of the following conditions are complied with. <br />" (a) An application has been submitted for a minimum <br />of fifteen (15) meters for a minimum time period of <br />one day. The application shall be for all meters in <br />the area to be hooded. <br />" (b) The applicant has paid, in advance, Two Dollars <br />($2.00) per day per meter hood issued to the <br />applicant. No portion of the amount shall be <br />refundable. <br />"(c) The applicant has deposited the sum of Ten <br />Dollars ($10.00) for each meter to be hooded to insure <br />removal and return of the hoods prior to 9:00 a.m. on <br />the first day subsequent to the expiration of the <br />permit. No portion of the amount deposited shall be <br />refunded if any courtesy hood remains on a meter after <br />that time but shall otherwise be refunded. <br />"Section 20.172. Same - Application. Applications for <br />a courtesy hood permit shall be made on forms approved by <br /> 6 <br /> ,--," __M'___'_ <br />
