The City Collector is hereby authorized <br />to issue parking meter construction zone hoods to licensed <br />contractors performing work on property adjacent to parking <br />spaces located within a parking meter zone. <br />"Section 20.176. Same - Conditions Prerequisite. <br />Parking meter construction zone hoods shall be issued by the <br />City Collector only after due application as provided in <br />this ordinance when access to vehicles is required for <br />loading and unloading of construction materials and <br />equipment at various times during the day or when the <br />construction work would present a hazard to vehicles <br />occupying parking spaces adjacent to the site. <br />"Section 20.177. Same - Application. Application for <br />the issuance of a parking meter construction zone hood shall <br />be made on a form approved by the City Collector, and shall <br />require the following information: <br />" (a) Name and address of applicant and the place of <br /> business in connection with which the hood will be <br /> used. <br />" (b) A statement of the reasons for the need for <br /> parking meter hood. <br />" (c) The estimated number of days during which the <br /> parking meter hood will be necessary. <br />" (d) Such other relevant information as the City <br /> Collector may require. <br />"Section 20.178. Same - Referral to Building <br />Department; Appeal from Denial or Revocation.
