CALL TO ORDER — 7:30 p.m. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Council Members Present: Hartnett, Howard, Ira, Jordan, Pierce, Vice Mayor Claire and <br />Mayor Ruskin <br />Staff Present: City Manager Everett, City Attorney Schricker, City Clerk Howe; <br />Community Development Services Director Nelson, Senior Civil <br />Engineer Lynch, Community Development Services Manager <br />Patterson, Traffic Engineer Haygood, Volunteer Balsamo <br />3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />Rudy Luca stated he had two issues to address. The first was regarding the new senior van from <br />the Senior Center that he drives. The new van does not provide adequate access for disabled <br />people. The second issue is affordable housing for both seniors and young people. <br />Lua Hadar, "Tis the Season" committee, invited Council Members and the community to <br />participate in the event beginning at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, December 2 at Broadway and <br />Hamilton. The parade usually runs an hour and the holiday sing -along and tree lighting follows <br />in front of City Hall with fireworks. <br />Virginia Ball invited all to the "Tis the Season' celebration for a bigger and better celebration <br />than ever. <br />MINUTES Book No.58 <br />Page NO. 243 <br />
