GENERAL <br />A. Peninsula Transportation Plan 2010: (613) <br />Engineering & Construction Manager Patterson explained this topic is being presented <br />at the request of City /County Association of Governments (C /CAG) <br />committee /Council Member Hartnett. C /CAG is scheduled to consider approval of the <br />Plan and any recommended revisions by the Council will be reflected. Mr. Patterson <br />stated Rich Napier would explain the Plan and its purpose to be followed by a staff <br />report. <br />Rich Napier, C /CAG Executive Director, explained that the Plan is unique in that it <br />incorporates funding sources, range of agencies, taxable plans and projects; focuses on <br />the cumulative impact of all and whether the outcomes have met objectives of the plan. <br />Another focus is advocating of policy strategies and not specific projects. The goal is <br />that all the decision - maker' goals and policies will guide many of the decisions.
