Section 5.23 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 5.23. Whenever a tag, issued for the then <br />current year by the city or by any agency city has <br />contracted with, has been stolen or lost, the owner or <br />possessor of the dog for which the same was issued <br />may, upon payment of a fee established in accordance <br />with the fee schedule set forth in section 5.91, and <br />on making and subscribing to an affidavit of such loss <br />and filing the same with the collector of the city or <br />with the agency city has contracted with, receive a <br />duplicate tag from the collector for the remaining <br />portion of the then current year. <br />SECTION 9. Section 5.63.1 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 5.63.1. Any owner of any animal impounded <br />pursuant to this Chapter is entitled to a hearing <br />conducted by the Health Officer or by his designee <br />within ten (10 ) days following such impoundment <br />provided such owner or possessor files a written <br />petition therefor with the Department of Animal <br />Control Services within three (3 ) days following <br />written notice of such impoundment. Unless hearing <br />officer otherwises determines, such owner or possessor <br />is liable for all costs related to such impoundment. <br />At the hearing, petitioner and the Department of <br /> 7 <br /> .-.. -~"--"'''' <br />
