<br /> St.IC: rb 9/12/83 <br /> .. ~:rb 9/19/83R <br /> SWC:rb 10/06/83R <br /> SWC:rb lO/lO/83R <br />provided, however, such owner may upon proper application <br />therefor, in accordance with the provisions of this article, <br />apply for another permit for any new taxicab which such owner <br />proposes to operate pursuant to said certificate, so long as the <br />total number of permits issued to an owner pursuant to a <br />certificate of convenience and necessity do not exceed that <br />number of permits authorized by said certificate. <br /> "Section 33.9. Certificates of public convenience and <br />necessity are not transferable. <br /> "Section 33.10. The provisions of this article shall <br />not affect the number of taxicabs operating under valid <br />certificates or permits on the effective date of this chapter. <br /> "Section 33.11. If the taxi service permitted under <br />this article is for any reason discontinued for a period of ten <br />(10 ) days, the certificate granted shall be automatically revoked <br />and shall be restored only in accordance with the provisions of <br />this article. <br /> "Section 33.12. The City Council may at any time, <br />pursuant to the revocation or suspension proceedings as <br />hereinafter described, revoke or suspend, the certificate granted <br />under this article, if it makes any of the following <br />determinations: <br /> " (a) If the owner's record is unsatisfactory. <br /> "(b) If the owner fails to operate taxicabs in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this chapter. <br /> 5 <br /> 1881 <br /> ._..... -.,....... <br />
