RESOLUTION NO. 28-2016 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PACIFICA <br />APPROVING A PUBLIC WORKS MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATE0 <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo and the dtles In San Mateo County have <br />expressed a mutual interest In the establishment of a plan to encourage public works mutual aid <br />agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, the Pacifica City Council has determined that It would be in the City's best <br />interest to participate In a Public Works Mutual Aid Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 8630 et W. of the State of California Government Code grants <br />local agencies full power to provide mutual aid pursuant to estabrished agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, a form of agreement for public works mutual aid has been presented to this <br />Coundl and considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PACIFICA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Any earlier agreement the City may have entered Into relative to the June 14, 1994 <br />Public Works Mutual Aid Agreement for San Mateo County is hereby revoked and rescinded, <br />and any such agreement Is null and void. <br />2.
