(b) Six Hundred Sixty -Six Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty -Eight <br />and No/100 Dollars ($666,988) for the payment of principal and <br />interest on Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 <br />Reclamation Bonds, Series A,B,C,D and E, for deposit in the Redwood <br />City General Improvement District No. 1-64 Reclamation Bond Principal <br />and Interest Fund, and the special tax rate therefor is hereby <br />levied and fixed at $2.0289 on each One Hundred Dollars of the <br />assessed value of all taxable land within the limits of General <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 as said District was established by <br />Resolution No. 4274 adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on May 4, 1964, together with all territory thereafter annexed <br />thereto, as said value has been established in accordance with <br />Ordinance No. 1290, adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood <br />City on January 30, 1967. <br />SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or <br />phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a Court of competent <br />jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, and the City <br />Council hereby declares that it would have adopted said ordinance <br />and each section, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective <br />of the fact that any one or more section, sentence, clause or phrase <br />be declared invalid. <br />SECTION 3. Transmittal to County. The City Clerk is hereby <br />directed to transmit certified copies of this ordinance to the Auditor <br />of the County of San Mateo in accordance with Section 51551 of the <br />Government Code and to such other County officials as may find it <br />convenient or necessary to utilize this ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. Effective Immediately. This ordinance shall take <br />effect and be in force upon its adoption. <br />-2- <br />
