MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />April 24, 2017 <br />MO. 17-073 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: April 25, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - 2016-2017 Watermain Replacement Project - Phase I <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1F (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on April 24, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Vice Mayor Bain, and Mayor <br />Seybert <br />M/S Borgens/Gee to approve the consent calendar, excluding Item 6.3.E, and including Item <br />7B. <br />By motion, to approve the contract documents and award the standard form contract 00520 <br />for the 2016-2017 Watermain Replacement Project — Phase I to Con -Quest Contractors, Inc. <br />of San Francisco for their responsive and responsible low bid of $2,038,840, authorize the <br />City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount <br />awarded, not to exceed $2,242,724, and find that the proposed project is categorically <br />exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under <br />CEQA Guidelines Section 15302. <br />Motion carried 6-0 with Council Member Masur absent. <br />0 fl, A r4a' <br />Silvia Vonderlinden <br />City Clerk <br />
