<br />Redwood City," adopted October 13, 2003, which plans and specifications are on file in the office <br />of the City Engineer, Engineering and Construction. The Improvements shall be constructed in <br />strict compliance with the provisions of Article VII, Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City. If a conflict exists between the above-described plans and specifications and Chapter 29 in <br />regard to the standard for a particular improvement, Chapter 29 shall govern to the extent of such <br />conflict. Developer shall complete all of the Improvements, subject to such exceptions and time <br />extensions allowable under paragraph 10, on or before September 30, 2005. The Improvements <br />shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, all of the following: <br />(a) concrete islands and paving <br />(b) curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveways <br />(c) Tree replacement and irrigation <br />(d) signing, striping, markings <br />(e) relocate a Post Office mail box <br />(f) intersection and median modification <br />and all other work, improvements, or construction required by or mentioned in the above- <br />mentioned plans and specifications, conditions of permits and all construction, appurtenances, <br />and improvements necessary as reasonably determined by the City Engineer, Engineering and <br />Construction to complete the Improvements. <br />2. Security. Developer shall, prior to the commencement of any work on the <br />Improvements, furnish to City and file with the City Clerk a cash instrument of credit of the kind <br />described in Section 66499, et seq., of the Government Code, securing the faithful performance <br />of all work and the construction of the Improvements within the time herein specified. The <br />amount of the faithful performance security shall be Sixty Six Thousand and No/100 Dollars <br />($66,000). Developer shall likewise, prior to the commencement of any work on the <br />Improvements, furnish and file with the City Clerk a cash instrument of credit of the kind described <br />in Sections 66499, et seq., of the Government Code securing the payment by Developer of all <br /> 2 <br /> -..... r"· <br />
