In the 1980s the training tower for the fire department was <br />dismantled and there has been no training facility since then. A <br />training facility is critical to be able to maintain skills and simulate <br />real-life situations. The new joint training facility would greatly <br />enhance public safety for the community. Staff will also explore the <br />possibility of including an Emergency Operations Center component. <br />• Increases public safety efficiency. <br />• New state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center. <br />This is a new project.
