EXHIBIT A <br />BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION <br />UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1980-2 <br />All that certain real property situate in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as <br />shown on that certain map entitled "Map of the Property in <br />Villa Lots of J. V. Diller", filed in the office of the <br />Recorder of San Mateo County, California on September <br />18, 1863 in Book "E" of Original Maps at Page 77 and copied <br />into Book 1 of Maps at Page 83, and more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of Block 4, <br />said corner being the point of intersection of the south- <br />easterly line of Jefferson Avenue, 70.00 feet in width, and <br />the southwesterly line of Middlefield Road, formerly called <br />Center Street, as described in that certain Deed to the <br />Town of Redwood City, filed January 4, 1911 in Book 195 at <br />Page 23 in the office of the County Recorder, San Mateo <br />County, California; <br />THENCE southwesterly along the said southeasterly line <br />of Jefferson Avenue, 70.00 feet in width, a distance of <br />222.28 feet to its intersection with the northeasterly line <br />of the Southern Pacific Company railroad right-of-way, said <br />northeasterly line also being the southwesterly line of <br />Block 4; <br />THENCE southwesterly along the prolongation of the <br />southeasterly line of Jefferson Avenue, 70.00 feet in width, <br />to its intersection with the southwesterly line of the said <br />railroad right-of-way, said southwesterly line being par- <br />allel with and 80.00 feet distant, measured at right angles, <br />from the northeasterly line of the said railroad right-of- <br />way; <br />THENCE southeasterly along said southwesterly line of <br />the said railroad right-of-way to its intersection with the <br />southeasterly lines of Lots 8, 9 and 11, Block 9, said <br />southeasterly lines being parallel with and 100.00 feet <br />distant, measured at right angles, from the southeasterly <br />line of. Jefferson Avenue, 70.00 feet in width; <br />THENCE southwesterly along the said southeasterly <br />lines of Lots 8, 9 and 11, Block 9, to its intersection <br />with the southwesterly line of Lot 8, Block 9, said south- <br />westerly line being parallel with and 100.00 feet distant, <br />measured at right angles, from the northeasterly line of <br />Franklin Street, 70.00 feet in width before widening, said <br />widening as described in that certain Deed to the City of <br />Redwood City, filed on July 10, 1958, in Vol. 3421, at <br />Page 47, in the office of the Recorder, County of San <br />Mateo, California; <br />
