Extension for Term of Agreement for Exclusive Right to Negotiate with Western Innisfme <br /> Ventures for the Proposed Downtown Retail-Cinema Project; (405) <br /> <br /> Economic Development Coordinator Webb explained this is an extension of the Exclusive <br /> Right to Negotiate, initially entered into on June 10, 1999. At that time the term was fbr 9 <br /> months with an opportunity to extend by approval of the Executive Director of the Agency <br /> for another 90 days. That has been done and that extension expires on June 30, 2000. <br /> Because the EIR is not quite ready for public review, extension is requested in order to get <br /> the public review process carried out and allow for Development and Disposition <br /> Agreement negotiations. The extension recommended is until October 31, 2000. <br /> <br /> M/S Howard/Hartnett to adopt RESOLUTION RD 00-48 APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR <br /> EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO NEGOTIATE (WESTERN INVESTMENT REAL ESTATE <br /> TRUST AND THE INNISFREE COMPANIES); (401) <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a majority vote with Council Member Ira abstaining. <br /> <br /> C. Franklin Street Project - Second Amendment to the Disposition and Development <br /> Agreement (DDA) with Shea Homes; <br /> <br /> Planning and Redevelopment Manager Church explained this is the second amendment to <br /> the DDA with Shea Homes to allow the developer and the Agency to continue to negotiate <br /> the final shape of the project. The current deadline is May and this would extend the DDA <br /> schedule to November 20, 2000. <br /> <br /> M/S Hartnett/Howard to adopt RESOLUTION RD 00-49 OF THE REDEVELOPMENT <br /> AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH SHEA HOMES LIMITED PARTNERSHIP <br /> FOR THE FRANKLIN STREET PROJECT; (405) <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />7.
