SWC:jp 9/21/79 <br />ORIGINAL <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-194 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24.5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, <br />THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, RELATING TO THE <br />SALE AND SERVICE OF USED CARS AND TRUCKS IN A "V" <br />(VEHICULAR COMBINING) DISTRICT <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 24.5 of Ordinance No. 1130, the Redwood <br />City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 24.5 V - Vehicular Combininq District. <br />The letter "V" may be added as a suffix to any CG, CP, <br />IR, or IP District designation in conjunction with the <br />zoning of any property in such districts. In such <br />event, the following uses may be permitted in that <br />district subject to first obtaining a use permit <br />therefor: <br />"(a) Franchised automobile dealer sales and <br />service establishments for new passenger <br />vehicles. <br />"(b) Used car sales, new and used truck sales, <br />including service and repair, primarily <br />within a permanent structure designed <br />and constructed with a vehicle showroom <br />and enclosed repair facilities. <br />"(c) Sales and incidental installation of <br />automobile accessories and parts such <br />as mufflers, tires, brakes, and seat <br />covers." <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days after <br />its adoption. <br />
