<br /> DES:yc:9/5/79 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1801 <br /> OCT 1 1979 <br /> --------- - - <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1782, <br /> ESTABLISHING SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FOR CERTAIN <br /> CLASSIFICATIONS RELATING TO MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br /> ASSIGNMENTS, AND CERTAIN DESIGNATED OFFICERS, TO ADJUST <br /> THE MONTHLY SALARY RATE FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF CITY <br /> MANAGER <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLmvS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1782, entitled "Ordinance <br />Establishing Salary and Wage Plan for Certain Employee Classifications <br />Relating to Management and Confidential Assignments, and Certain <br />Designated Officers; and Repealing Ordinance No. 1713, all Amendments <br />Thereto, and all Ordinances in Conflict Therewith," adopted May 21, <br />1979, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 3. For the officers appointed by the Council, <br /> the following monthly salary rates and/or monthly salary ranges <br /> (expressed as minimum and maximum amounts), in dollars, are <br /> hereby established: <br /> " (a) The City Clerk shall receive a monthly salary rate <br /> established within a range of $1,610 to and including ) <br /> $2,15l. <br /> " (b) The Finance Director (holding consolidated offices <br /> of City Auditor, City Assessor, and City Treasurer- <br /> Collector) shall receive a monthly salary rate <br /> established within the range of $2,381 to and <br /> including $3,266. <br /> " (c) The City Attorney shall receive a monthly salary <br /> rate established within a range of $2,732 to and <br /> including $3,715. <br /> " (d) The City Manager shall receive a monthly salary of <br /> $4,263. <br /> "Monthly salary rates for Council appointees shall be <br /> established and maybe adjusted within the foregoing designated <br /> salary ranges by motion of the City Council duly made and <br /> carried." <br /> I 801 <br /> r-"'" .' <br />
