CGM:bc:6/13/79 <br /> . <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1789 JUN 25 1979 <br /> --------- <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING <br /> THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR <br /> THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1979 - JUNE 30, 1980; <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF <br /> ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR <br /> EMERGENCY EXPEDITURES, TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPRO- <br /> PRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; <br /> PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF UNENCUMBERED MONIES <br /> AND FUNDS AT THE CLOSE OF FISCAL YEAR 1978 - 79; <br /> AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 32.15 OF THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF <br /> PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I CHAPTER 32 OF SAID <br /> CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65 AND NO. 3-65 <br /> FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1979 - JUNE 30, 1980; AND <br /> REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.1754, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND <br /> RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHE REAS , in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood <br />City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year July 1, <br />1979 - June 30, 1980; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City <br />of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council <br />of Redwood City has approved said budget and said budget has been <br />certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager as the final <br />budget of the City for said fiscal year; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City <br />to adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as <br />amended, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> SECTION l. Adoption of Budget. That certain above mentioned <br />budget for the fiscal year July 1, 1979 - June 30, 1980, approved <br />by the Council of Redwood City and certified by the City Clerk <br />and the City Manager, presently on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, entitled "City of Redwood City Annual Budget, 1979-1980," <br /> 1 78 <br /> ....--.-.-.-.......~. <br />
