<br />SECTION 5. Section 20.127 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 20.127. Any operator or owner of a vehicle <br />to whom a citation has been issued in accordance with the <br />preceding section may within five (5) days of the time of <br />the issuance of such citation, pay to the appropriate court, <br />as a penalty for and full satisfaction of such violation, <br />the sum of Three Dollars ($3.00) . The mailing, in a sealed <br />envelope properly addressed through the United States mail, <br />of a check, money order or postal order, within five (5 ) <br />days from the time of issuance of the citation, or notice <br />of such violation or the deposit with the police department <br />of the sum of Three Dollars ($3.00) within such five (5) <br />days constitutes a compliance with this provision. Delivery <br />of such envelope shall be the responsibility of such owner <br />or operator. The failure of such owner or operator to make <br />such payment within the five (5) days shall render such <br />owner or operator subject to the penalties provided for <br />violation of the provisions of this division." <br />SECTION 6.
