Scope of Work - Bidder shall furnish all equipment, transportation, and materials needed to upgrade the existing <br /> data networking infrastructure. <br />B. Current Campus Infrastructure <br /> The City of Redwood City installed its current data-networking infrastructure in 1997-1998. The data infrastructure <br /> consists of an air-blown fiber backbone to all the main Civic Buildings. Each of the following eight (8) locations <br /> are terminated with a combination of 6 strands of multi-mode and 4 strand single mode fiber: <br /> . <br /> City Hall 1017 Middlefield Road <br /> Fire Station 9 755 Marshal Street <br /> Police Department 1301 Maple Street <br /> Red Morton Community Center 1120 Roosevelt Avenue <br /> Community Activities Building 1400 Roosevelt Avenue <br /> Main Library 1044 Middlefield Road <br /> Fair Oaks Community Center 2600 Middlefield Road <br /> Fire Station 10 Jefferson Ave <br /> Shipment should occur no later than twenty (20) to thirty (30) working days after the City requests the specific <br /> equipment to be shipped. Unless otherwise specified, delivery shall be as follows: <br /> Information Technology Division <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> 1017 Middlefield Rd <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063-1993 <br />E. Documentation <br /> Successful bidder will provide comprehensive, current documentation for the equipment, including maintenance, <br /> operations, and users manuals. All efforts and costs required to develop and deliver documentation shall be <br /> listed on the Bid Form. Otherwise, it will be assumed that such items are provided at no additional charge to the <br /> City. <br />F. SupportlWarrantv <br /> All equipment shall have a minimum 90-day warranty covering parts and on-site labor. Bidder shall be <br /> responsible for packaging and returning any defective equipment to Cisco during implementation by the <br /> Information Technology Division. Successful bidder shall register all new equipment with the Cisco Technical <br /> Assistance Center (TAC) within 30 days after shipment under the same Cisco contract number. <br />G. Bidder Qualifications <br /> The successful bidder: <br /> 1. Must be an authorized Cisco reseller with a local sales office within a 60-mile radius of Redwood City, <br /> City Hall located at 1017 Middlefield Rd. <br /> 2. Must have been in business for minimum of five (5) years prior to bid date. <br /> 4. Must satisfy all bid requirements. <br /> 5. Must prove to the City's satisfaction that it has the required skill and experience, as well as the necessary <br /> facilities, capacity and technical expertise to provide the equipment as identified in the bid. In this regard, <br /> the bidder shall provide all reasonable supplemental information required by the City. <br /> 6. Must provide three (3) municipal, county or service district references in the San Francisco Bay area, <br /> (j) <br /> - ' ...~,.... <br />
