<br /> MSR:dp:lj18j79 <br /> 1776 ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1776 <br />FEB 5 1979 <br /> --------- - - ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.33.1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO INVESTMENT OF PUBLIC MONIES <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION l. Section 2.33.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 2.33.1 Pursuant to the provisions of Section <br /> 34 of the Charter of the City, the City Treasurer is hereby <br /> authorized to invest such public monies of the City as are <br /> not required for immediate expenditure in such securities <br /> or other certificates of indebtedness as are provided by law <br /> for the investment of public funds, generally. Such authority <br /> shall include the power to sell or exchange such securities <br /> and reinvest the proceeds thereof." <br /> SECTION 2.
