<br />" (b) Wherever the words 'Chief of the Bureau of Fire <br />Prevention' appear, they shall be held to mean the Fire <br />Marshal. <br />" (c) Wherever the word 'Administrator' appears, it <br />shall be held to mean the City Manager. <br />"Section 12.9 Section 1.103 of the Fire Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 1.103 SCOPE. <br /> " , (a) The provisions of this Code shall supplement <br />any and all laws of this State relating to fire safety <br />and shall apply to all persons without restriction, <br />unless specifically excepted. <br /> " , (b) The provisions of this Code shall apply to <br />existing conditions as well as to conditions arising <br />after the adoption thereof, except that conditions <br />legally in existence at the adoption of this Code and <br />not in strict compliance therewith shall be permitted <br />to continue only if, in the opinion of the Chief, they <br />do not constitute a distinct hazard to life or property. <br /> " , (c) The provisions of this Code shall be construed <br />to be in addition to all other requirements and no permit <br />or license granted hereunder shall be construed to permit <br />a violation of any other ordinance or regulation of the <br />City. , <br />"Section 12.10 Section 1.207 of the Fire Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 1.207 INSPECTIONS AND UNSAFE BUILDINGS. <br /> -2- <br /> ..~" <br />
