Section 9.72 is hereby added to the Code of the <br /> City of Redwood City to read as follows: <br /> "Section 304 of the mechanical code is hereby amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> Section 304 <br /> Each applicant for a permit to do work regulated by this <br /> code, shall state in writing on the application form provided <br /> for that purpose, the character of work proposed to be done <br /> and the amount and kind in connection therewith, together <br /> with such information, pertinent thereto, as may be required. <br /> Such applicant shall pay to the building official for <br /> each permit at the time of issuance a fee established by <br /> resolution of the Council. " <br /> SECTION 5. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> SECTION 6. The provisions of this ordinance are severable, <br /> and if any section, sentence, phrase, clause or other provisions <br /> should be declared invalid by the final judgment or decree of a <br /> Court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect <br /> any of the remaining sections, sentences, phrases, clauses or <br /> provisions. In the event that one or more of the above mentioned <br /> fee provisions are declared invalid in the manner described above, <br /> those fee provisions contained in Ordinance Nos. 1728, 1729, 1731 <br /> and 1756, which have been superseded by this ordinance, shall be <br /> in full force and effect. <br /> * * * <br /> -5- <br /> 0- <br />
