NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Redwood City, as follows: <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br />be, and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the <br />minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said <br />election. <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City <br />at said consolidated general and special municipal bond elec- <br />tion was 8,485 votes. That 56 ballots were spoiled and <br />not counted. <br />3. That at said election the following measures and <br />each of them for incurring bonded indebtedness were submitted <br />to the electors of mid City and that the number of votes given <br />in said City for and against each of said measures (including <br />absentee votes) was as follows: <br />Total <br />Total Total Ballots <br />Vote <br />Vote Spoiled and <br />"YES" <br />"NO" Not Counted <br />MEASURE (A): Shall the City <br />of Redwood City <br />(Sanitary Sewage incur a bonded <br />Disposal System indebtedness in <br />Improvements) the principal <br />amount of <br />$976,000, in accordance with the <br />provisions of the ordinance call- <br />ing the election at which this <br />measure is submitted, for the <br />acquisition, construction and com- <br />pletion of the following municipal <br />improvement, to wit: Municipal <br />sanitary sewage disposal system <br />improvements, including additions, <br />modifications and enlargements to <br />the sewage treatment plant and <br />appurtenances, to the pumping plant <br />and appurtenances, to the outfall, <br />intercepting and collecting sewers <br />and appurtenances, and to the over- <br />flow lines and appurtenances, lands, <br />easements, rights of way and other <br />works, property or structures neces- <br />sary or convenientfor improvements <br />to the municipal sanitary sewage <br />disposal system of the City of <br />Redwood City? 5728 <br />2136 56 <br />2 <br />
