<br /> DES:dp:6/19/78 <br /> - OR\G\NAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1754 JUN 26 1978 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE <br />FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY 1, 1978 - JUNE 30, 1979; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH <br />IN SAID BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, <br />TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS AND CANCELLATION <br />OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION <br />OF UNENCUMBERED MONIES AND FUNDS AT THE CLOSE OF FISCAL <br />YEAR 1977 - 78; AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 32.15 <br />OF THE REDWOOD CITY CODE RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF <br />PROCEEDS COLLECTED UNDER ARTICLE I CHAPTER 32 OF SAID <br />CODE; ADOPTING THE BUDGETS FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICTS NO. 1-64, NO. 1-65, NO. 2-65 AND NO. 3-65 <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1978 - JUNE 30, 1979; AND <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1707, AND ALL ORDINANCES AND <br />RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> City, the City Manager has submitted to the Council of the City of <br /> Redwood City a proposed annual budget for the fiscal year July 1, <br /> 1978 - June 30, 1979; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 51.5 of the Charter of the City <br /> of Redwood City, after due public hearing and notice, the Council <br /> of Redwood City has approved said budget and said budget has been <br /> certified by the City Clerk and the City Manager as the final <br /> budget of the City for said fiscal year; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City <br /> to adopt the above mentioned certified copy of said budget, as <br /> amended, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> SECTION l. Adoption of Budget.
