<br /> regularly assigned to a night shift as herein defined, <br /> shall receive additional compensation in an amount <br /> equal to 2-1/2% of his basic monthly salary for each <br /> month during the period he is so assigned; provided, <br /> however, that such additional compensation shall not <br /> be included in computations for overtime or other pay <br /> differentials. <br /> " (b) Any lead communications dispatcher or <br /> communications dispatcher assigned to the Police Depart- <br /> ment who is regularly assigned to a relief schedule re- <br /> quiring night shift duty, as herein defined, shall receive <br /> additional compensation in an amount equal to 1% of his <br /> basic monthly salary for each month during the period <br /> he is so assigned; provided, however, that such additional <br /> compensation shall not be included in computations for <br /> overtime or other pay differentials. <br /> " (c) For the purposes of this section a night shift <br /> shall be considered to be any duty shift commencing between <br /> the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 2: 00 a.m." <br /> SECTION 3 .
