<br />(f) The aforementioned Resolution No. 7973, adopted on <br /> January 16, 1978, and entitled "Resolution of the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice <br /> of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate, Pursuant <br /> to Petition, Proceedings to Annex to said City Certain <br /> Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and <br /> Designating it by the name 'Yamada Annexàtion - Sub- <br /> division of Portion of the Horgan Ranch - San Mateo <br /> Cöunty, California' ; Making Certain Findings Respecting <br /> said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time and <br /> Place said Council will Hear Protests to said <br /> Annexation" has been published by the City Clerk in <br /> the manner and within the time required by law, and <br /> said Clerk has also caused written notice of the <br /> proposed annexation therein described to be mailed to <br /> all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required <br /> by law to be given, all in the manner and time required <br /> by law; <br />(g) This Council did, in said Resolution No. 7973, set and <br /> designate February 27, 1978 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock <br /> p.m. , in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of <br /> Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, <br /> California, as the day, hour, and place when and where <br /> said Council would hear protests against said annexation; <br />(h) This Council duly met and convened at said time and place <br /> for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests <br /> to said proposed annexation, and did at the hearing in <br /> open public session ask for protests, if any, to the <br /> proposed annexation, and give all persons full opportunity <br /> to protest said annexation and received evidence relevant <br /> to said annexation; <br />(i) This Council, at the time of said hearing, found, determined, <br /> and declared, that protests to the proposed annexation <br /> of the hereinafter described territory to the City of <br /> Redwood City had not been made by private owners of one- <br /> half of the value of said territory as shown on the last <br /> equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, <br /> California, nor by private owners of one-half of the value <br /> of the territory as said value has been determined accord- <br /> ing to law; <br />(j) None of the territory within the boundaries of the <br /> territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a community <br /> college district; <br />(k) None of the territory within the boundaries of the terri- <br /> tory proposed to be annexed consists wholly or partly of <br /> tide or submerged lands; and <br />(1) This Council did, upon closing of the aforementioned <br /> hearing, elect to proceed with the proposed annexation. <br />SECTION 2. This Council does hereby approve the annexation <br />to the City of Redwood City of all the territory described in that <br />certain proposed annexation entitled "Yamada Annexation - Subdivision <br /> -2- <br /> .,... <br />
