<br /> DES:djk 07/07/94 (109/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 7/18/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12249 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1993-1994 SIDEWALK <br /> REPAIR AND TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12190, adopted June 6, <br />1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1993-1994 <br />Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program, Redwood City, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, George Bianchi Construction, Inc. of San Jose, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of George <br />Bianchi Construction, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of George Bianchi Construction, Inc. , in the <br />amount of Three Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Eighty and No/100 <br />Dollars ($395,080.00) , computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated June 29, 1994, for the 1993-1994 Sidewalk Repair <br />and Tree Program, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br /> 2 . That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />07/07/94) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and George Bianchi <br /> --->"',..-...". <br />
