<br /> DES:d~~ 06/24/94 (107/37) <br /> ,; RIG I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12238 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br /> SEISMIC PROTECTION OF WATER RESERVOIRS (PHASE I - <br /> PRE DESIGN REPORT) <br /> (KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the seismic <br /> retrofitting of water reservoirs in various locations throughout <br /> the City of Redwood City (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br /> City requires professional engineering services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants of Palo Alto, California <br /> represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br /> expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br /> Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br /> Engineering Services - Seismic Protection of Water Reservoirs <br /> (Phase I - Predesign Report)" (form dated 06/24/94) , by and <br /> between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> State of California and Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, for the <br /> performance of the above-mentioned services, a copy of which <br /> agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br /> is hereby approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br /> authorized and directed to execute and to attest thereto, <br /> respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> -~-,.. -- <br />
