<br /> DES:dft ?/20/94 (032/36) <br /> WHEREAS, implementation of the County-wide General Program <br />under the aforesaid NPDES permit requires funding in the amount <br />of $974,460 for fiscal year July 1, 1994 - June 30, 1995, for <br />which a levy, assessment or charge per parcel of real property <br />(as specified by the County Assessor) in the following amounts, <br />corresponding to parcel usage, is proposed to be collected: $3.72 <br />per residential parcel, $24.86 per retail, commercial, industrial <br />and manufacturing parcels, and $1. 86 per miscellaneous usage <br />parcel; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to confirm its approval of the <br />aforesaid levy, assessment or charge against parcels of real <br />property in the City of Redwood City to fund this City's portion <br />of the aforesaid NPDES General Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to request the San Mateo <br />County Board of Supervisors, as governing body of the San Mateo <br />County Flood Control District, to impose said charges on parcels <br />of real property located in the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors <br />of the County of San Mateo, acting as the governing board of the <br />San Mateo County Flood Control District, to impose those levies, <br />assessments or charges necessary to fund the County-wide <br />storm water NPDES general program under NPDES Waste Discharge <br />Permit CA 0029921 for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />with respect to parcels of real property within the City of <br /> 2 <br /> 12232 <br /> -r--.. <br />
