<br /> DES:djlr 06/15/94 (101/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12223 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THREE (3 ) <br /> MOTOR STARTERS FOR PUMP STATION REHABILITATION <br /> PROJECT/CARSON WATER PUMP STATION <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br /> solicited for the purchase of three (3 ) reduced voltage motor <br /> starters for the Pump Station Rehabilitation Project/Carson Water <br /> Pump Station for the Department of General Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Consolidated Electrical Distributors of Redwood <br /> City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Consolidated Electrical Distributors for the <br /> sale of three (3 ) Westinghouse reduced voltage motor starters to <br /> the City of Redwood City in the amount of Sixteen Thousand Six <br /> Hundred Forty-four and No/100 Dollars ($16,644.00) , is hereby <br /> accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without <br /> advertisement for said purchase. <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> Consolidated Electrical Distributors is, and each of them are, <br /> hereby waived. <br /> ~--_.., <br />
