<br /> DES:djk 06/13/94 (094/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12216 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF ONE ( 1 ) TRUCK <br /> MOUNTED EMULSION UNIT WITH DUMP BODY; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of one (1) <br /> truck mounted emulsion unit with dump body for the Right-of-Way <br /> Division in the General Services Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, California is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid of S & C Ford, Inc. , in the total amount of <br /> Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-two and 92/100 Dollars <br /> ($52,562.92) , computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated June 1, 1994 for the sale of one (1 ) truck mounted emulsion <br /> unit with dump body, which bid is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br /> particulars thereo f , is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> the sale of said vehicle to the City. <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> said S & C Ford, Inc. are, and each of them is, hereby waived. <br />
