<br /> DES:djlr 06/15/94 (100/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12213 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MARINE <br /> PARKWAY CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12179, adopted May 16, <br /> 1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the construction of <br /> Marine Parkway Cathodic Protection System, Redwood City, <br /> California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Corrpro Companies, Inc. of Hayward, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to accept said bid of Corrpro Companies, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Corrpro Companies, Inc. , in the amount of <br /> Forty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-three and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($46,893.00) , computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated June 1, 1994, for construction of Marine Parkway Cathodic <br /> Protection System, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br /> found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> work. <br /> 2 . That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> 06/15/94) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California and Corrpro Companies, <br /> .,,- .., ..-.-............-ro--. , ,-....~ <br />
