<br /> DES:dj~ 06/15/94 (099/37) <br /> ORIGlfJAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12211 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF COMPUTERS AND <br /> RELATED EQUIPMENT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of 19 <br /> computers, 6 printers, 1 file server, 1 access server, 1 power <br /> supply, and 7 fax/modems (the "Equipment" ) for the Fire <br /> Department of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Affinity Network Computing Solutions of San Jose, <br /> California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Affinity Network Computing Solutions of San <br /> Jose, California, in the total amount of Forty-two Thousand Seven <br /> Hundred Sixty-four and No/100 Dollars ($42,764.00) , computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 7, 1994 for the <br /> sale of said Equipment, which bid is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br /> particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />
