Appeal by 605 Middlefield, LLC, of Planning Commission Resolution <br />No. 17-06 approving a Downtown Planned Community Permit including <br />fifteen guideline deviations, Tentative Map, Condominium Permit, <br />Density Bonus Parking Ratio and Parking Reduction for 612 Jefferson <br />Avenue pursuant to the City of Redwood City's Downtown Precise <br />Plan, Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, and Affordable <br />Housing Impact Fee Ordinance (603) <br /> <br />1. Staff Report; <br />Seth Adams, Associate Planner provided the report. The appellant <br />gave a presentation, followed by the applicant for Habitat for <br />Humanity. <br /> <br />2. Open public hearing; <br />Mayor Seybert opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />3. Motion carried 6-0- <br />1 by voice vote with Council Member Howard recused and <br />abstained. <br /> <br />5. Council discussion; <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Hold a Public Hearing and Adopt a Resolution (Attachment 1) Denying the <br />Appeal and Approving the Downtown Planned Community Permit including <br />fifteen guideline deviations, Tentative Map, Condominium Permit, Planned <br />Development Permit, Density Bonus Parking Ratio and Parking Reduction, <br />based on the findings and subject to the conditions of approval contained <br />therein, and upon consideration of the Initial Study Checklist demonstrating <br />compliance with the Downtown Precise Plan Environmental Impact Report <br />(EIR) as certified on January 24, 2011 <br /> <br />M/S Masur/Aguirre to hold a public hearing and Adopt a Resolution <br />(Attachment 1) Denying the Appeal and Approving the Downtown Planned <br />Community Permit including fifteen guideline deviations, Tentative Map, <br />Condominium Permit, Planned Development Permit, Density Bonus Parking <br />Ratio and Parking Reduction, based on the findings and subject to the <br />6.1.G. - Page 10
