the original three party agreement. Since October 1, 1990, MidPen has leased the
Property to LifeMoves, which operates Redwood Family House, a transitional housing
facility on site for extremely low income homeless families.

Redwood Family House
Redwood Family House is one of many transitional housing shelters for homeless
families operated by LifeMoves. The transitional housing shelter provides interim
housing for homeless families (usually up to 6 months) in nine furnished one-bedroom
apartments. The other three units are utilized as staff offices to provide onsite support
services and a children's playroom.

Redwood Family House provides supportive services that enable homeless families to
return to self-sufficiency including case management; individual and family counseling
by supervised PhD-level interns; information and referrals; a client savings program;
parenting classes, child abuse prevention workshops, conflict resolution training;
referrals and subsidies for child care; a comprehensive Children's Program including
individual assessments, referrals for medical, mental health, and special needs
services, coordination with schools, after school tutoring, enrichment activities, and
educational field trips. Residents are also regularly referred to a variety of off-site
services including employment assistance with linkages to public transportation as
needed.

The City has provided up to $80,000 of CDBG and Human Services Financial
Assistance (HSFA) funds combined each year to LifeMoves to support the Redwood
Family House shelter operations since they opened. The City also provided $90,000 of
CDBG funds in 2007 in the form of a grant for improvements and rehabilitation to the
shelter.

LifeMoves
In 1987, LifeMoves, formerly known as Shelter Network, was established. In 2012
Shelter Network merged with Inn Vision, a Santa Clara based provider of shelter,
transitional housing and support services for homeless families and individuals and was
renamed InnVision Shelter Network. This merger allowed Shelter Network to expand
their shelter bed capacity and services and helped to preserve shelter services in
southern San Mateo County and the Santa Clara region as InnVision was experiencing
financial difficulties due to the economic downturn. In early 2016 InnVision Shelter
Network changed its name to LifeMoves, a new name to more closely reflect the
mission of the organization.

MidPen
Mid-Peninsula Coalition Belle Haven, Inc. is currently the owner of the Redwood Family
House ("Property"). MidPen’s founder and former president was also a founding board
member of Shelter Network and acted as the nonprofit’s first director of development.
As a result MidPen is involved in the ownership structure on four of LifeMoves' early
deals: Redwood Family House in Redwood City, Family Crossroads in Daly City, First
Step for Families in San Mateo and Haven Family House in Menlo Park.

6.3.B. - Page 2
