Recommendations to consider <br />1.Add “Child Care Facilities” to the Community Benefits <br />consideration when engaging with developers <br />2.Encourage State legislators to study CEQA exemptions for child <br />care centers in certain locations <br />3.Study the re-use of existing City facilities for child care purposes <br />4.Engage the 2x2x2 City Council and School Districts meetings to <br />discuss child care sites on school properties <br />5.Pursue one or more strategies related to planning processes, <br />financing strategies, site identification, etc. <br />6.Appoint an ad hoc committee to study and bring <br />recommendations back to the full Council for consideration
