CA 94063 Dear Council Members: The Peninsula Celebration Association wishes to make a formal request to hold the annual Fourth of July Parade, Festival and Fireworks in Redwood City, on Monday July 4, 1994. The pre-parade 5K footrace will start at 9:30 A.M., followed by the Parade at 10:30 A.M. and the festival from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. , at dusk the Fireworks Display will again be held over the South Shores Property. On July 2nd, 3rd and 4th an Arts and Craft Fair will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. as indicated on the attached map along with Parade line up area and route. The Following Services are Requested: I. Street Sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 A..M. to pick up fresh horse droppings along the Parade route. They will also be needed along Broadway Avenue after' the Festival approxill!aeely 6:00 P.M. 2. Deliver and pick up available bleachers to Marshall and Winslow Streets prior to and after the Parade. 3 . Deliver barricades, as necessary, to locations along the Parade:oroute as determined by the Police ~ Department and the P.C.A., to be in place before 7:00 A.M. § CññI 4 . Install along the Parade route, immediately before ~~ æ G=Ð thè l'atade the P.C.A. Flags, which are in storage - CññI at the City Yard, and remove them as soon as ¡I .þ. c::;I possible after the Parade.
