<br /> DES:djk OS/09/94 (072/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/23/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12182 <br /> <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWO (2 ) POLICE PATROL VEHICLES UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY BID #Q-220 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Los Angeles County, bid #Q-220 includes a <br /> Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br /> the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of Los Angeles County conforms to <br /> the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> purchase two ( 2) police patrol vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet <br /> pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase provision of Los Angeles <br /> County Bid #Q-220; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of two (2 ) police <br /> patrol vehicles from Sopp Chevrolet in the total amount of <br /> Thirty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-five and 64/100 Dollars <br /> ($32,955.64) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provisions of <br /> , ··_'w· '-"'--.',-'-'" ..~ ._~ .~---_.._.
