<br /> DES:djJr "'4/18/94 (062/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/9/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12176 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF TWO (2 ) <br /> PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSORS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of two (2 ) <br /> portable air compressors for the Utilities Division in the General <br /> Services Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ingersoll-Rand Equipment Sales of San Leandro, <br /> California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Ingersoll-Rand Equipment Sales, in the total <br /> amount of Twenty-nine Thousand One and 26/100 Dollars <br /> ($29,001.26) , computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated April 6, 1994 for the sale of two (2 ) portable air <br /> compressors, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said <br /> equipment to the City. <br /> .- .-.--..., ----.-,.....
