<br /> DES:df"" 3/22/94 (022/36) <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Agreement to extend <br /> the term hereof and to empower SBTSA to enter into agreements <br /> and perform such other acts a may be necessary to implement the <br /> aforesaid Waste Diversion requirements of the SBTSA's member <br /> agencies; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLO\<JS: <br /> l. That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Joint <br /> Exercise of Powers Agreement - South Bayside Transfer Station", <br /> (also described as the "First Amendment" to the Joint Exercise of <br /> Powers Agreement - South Bayside Transfer Station) providing for <br /> the above-described amendments to the Agreement, a copy of which <br /> First Amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> thereof, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are <br /> hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement and to <br /> attest thereto, respectively, for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> 2 .
