<br /> DES:djk ~/08/94 (053/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 3/14/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12152 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1 ) TANDEM VIBRATORY ROLLER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN BID #2182 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Marin, Bid #2182 includes a <br /> Cooperative Purchase provision which offers other public agencies <br /> the opportunity to purchase equipment from Tractor Equipment <br /> Sales of San Jose, California; and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the County of Marin conforms <br /> to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> purchase one (1 ) Tandem Vibratory Roller from Tractor Equipment <br /> Sales pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase provision of the <br /> County of Marin Bid #2182; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one ( 1) Tandem <br /> Vibratory Roller from Tractor Equipment Sales for a total cost of <br /> Twenty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Four and 90/100 Dollars <br /> ($29,304.90) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase provisions of <br />
