<br /> DES:djk "'"1/16/94 (050/37) <br /> cooperation with wholesale water customers, and in turn, the <br /> SFPUC has adopted a policy committing itself to work with the <br /> Suburban Purchasers to eliminate aspects of the Master Agreement <br /> which serve as disincentives to water conservation or development <br /> of alternative sources of water; and <br /> WHEREAS, this City endorses these goals and believes the <br /> allocations set forth on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein, reflects equitable principles <br /> which will allow for growth in usage by Hayward and Estero and, <br /> to the extent feasible, recognize specialized circumstances of <br /> particular Suburban Purchasers; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Subject to the provisions of paragraph 3 hereof, this <br /> Council does hereby agree with the Suburban Purchasers that the <br /> provisions of Section 7.02(b) (3) of the Master Agreement dealing <br /> with the allocation of that portion of the Supply Assurance <br /> designated as the "Residual Water" shall be, and hereby are, <br /> suspended as to water used by Suburban Purchasers subject thereto <br /> during the fiscal year 1993-1994 (Le. , July 1 , 1993 - June 30, <br /> 1994) , and hereby agrees that water usage during said fiscal year <br /> shall not be used for any purpose in determining permanent water <br /> entitlements of the Suburban Purchasers to Residual Water. <br /> 2 .
