<br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
<br /> AGREEMENT CONSENTING TO ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT WITH
<br /> SAN MATEO COUNTY, AGING AND ADULT SERVICES, RETIRED
<br /> SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM ("RSVP") TO MILLS-PENINSULA
<br /> SENIOR FOCUS
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County,
<br /> Aging and Adult Services, Retired Senior Volunteer Program
<br /> ("RSVP") entered into that certain agreement entitled "Agreement"
<br /> (form dated 8/15/93) pursuant to which RSVP provides volunteer
<br /> placement services for senior citizens (the IIAgreementll) ; and
<br /> WHEREAS, RSVP proposes to assign all of its rights, duties
<br /> and interests in the Agreement to Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus;
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an
<br /> agreement consenting to such assignment;
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE;
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY,
<br /> AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Assignment of
<br /> Agreement Between the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo
<br /> County, Aging and Adult Services, Retired Senior Volunteer
<br /> Program" (form dated 11/17/93; the "Consent Agreement") ; pursuant
<br /> to which the City of Redwood City consents to an assignment of
<br /> the Agreement from RSVP to Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus, a copy
<br /> of which Consent Agreement is on file in the Office of the City
<br /> Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full
<br /> particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and
