RESOLUTION NO. 12124 <br /> DES:djk 0' 105/94 (021/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 1/24/94 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12124 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING INCLUSION OF THE SEQUOIA HIGH <br /> SCHOOL CA1vlPUS , A LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARK LOCATED AT <br /> 1201 BREWSTER AVENUE AND 480 JAMES AVENUE IN THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY, ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC <br /> PLACES <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the National Historic <br />Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, and in accordance with the <br />National Register of Historic Places Standards, as set forth in <br />36 CFR Part 60, the City of Redwood City may signify its <br />approval and support of applications to the California Office of <br />Historic Preservation for listing local historical landmarks on <br />the National Register of Historic Places; and <br /> WHEREAS, a National Register Nomination Application for the <br />Sequoia High School Campus has been prepared and submitted by Mr. <br />Kent Seavey, a qualified historian and consultant retained by the <br />Sequoia High School Alumni Association; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval, and <br />urge support, of the listing of the Sequoia High School Campus on <br />the National Register of Historical Places; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> This Council hereby approves and supports the listing of the <br />Sequoia High School Campus, Redwood City, California, on the <br />National Register of Historic Places and recommends to the <br />California Office of Historic Preservation the inclusion thereof <br />in said Register. <br /> * * * <br /> ~_,. .~~,~,_"_._,.___m....__·~._.__".,.~_~><_,.._.~__.___,,,_~_"~_H._'_"_._,,'______ <br />
