Your services shall be <br />provided in accordance with the following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. Scope. You shall provide legal advice and related <br />special counsel services to the City Council and the City Council <br />Personnel Committee (the "Committee II) , comprised of Vice-Mayor <br />Richard S. Claire, and Councilmember Jack Greenalch, relating to <br />the inquiry instituted by the Council and being conducted by the <br />Committee into allegations made by Councilmember Paul Sanfilipo <br />and responding counter allegations made by Councilmember Janet <br />Steinfeld, contained in, and arising out of, the statement <br />concerning Counci1member Steinfeld read by Councilmember <br />Sanfi1ipo at the Council meeting of September 28, 1993. In <br />carrying out your services you shall attend such Council meetings <br />and advise the City Council regarding matters pertaining to the <br />inquiry and shall advise and assist the Committee, the <br />investigator retained by the Committee, and perform such other <br />legal services pertaining to the inquiry as the Committee or the <br />Council may request. <br /> ? Compensation; Cost Reimbursement. You shall be <br /> ... . <br />compensated for your services performed hereunder at the hourly <br />rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) . Reimbursement of your <br />out-of-pocket costs shall be paid by the City at the cost <br />incurred by you. <br /> Your compensation and reimbursement of costs shall be <br />payable within thirty (30) days from receipt of an itemized <br />invoice or invoices setting forth the time expended in performing <br />your services together with a brief description thereof and a <br />descriptive statement of costs incurred.
