RESOLUTION NO. 12119 <br /> o RIG I N A L /10/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12119 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF THE REDWOOD CITY TRIBUNE FOR OFFICIAL <br />ADVERTISING; DESIGNATING SAID NEWSPAPER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 90 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City, proposals were solicited from all newspapers of <br />general circulation in the City for the publication of all matters of the <br />City required to be published; and <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Tribune, which has been adjudicated as a <br />newspaper of general circulation and which has its principal office of <br />publication located in the City, is the lowest responsible bidder responding <br />to said solicitation for bids; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to designate the Redwood City Tribune as <br />the official newspaper of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The proposal of the Redwood City Tribune submitted in response to <br />the advertisement for bids for designation as the official newspaper of the <br />City is hereby is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared the <br />lowest responsible bidder for said designation. <br />2. Any and all informalities in the bid of said Redwood City Tribune <br />are hereby waived. <br />3. The Redwood City Tribune is hereby designated as the official <br />newspaper of the City of Redwood City. <br />4. Any and all other bids for official advertising for the City of <br />Redwood City are hereby rejected. <br /> '-r-.' <br />
